I want to stay in an igloo!

 

There is a place where you can stay in a glass (or a real) igloo and watch the aurora borealis dance by on a clear night! How dreamy, right? Would you stay there? Or would you be cold, brrrr? It is this called Hotel Kakslauttanen - Igloo Village in Finland. On my to go list from now on. Let winter come!

Christmas time = Dessert time!

First of all, merry Christmas to all of you!!

Hope you had a blast, I certainly did. I celebrated Christmas Eve with the family and Christmas Day with the boyfriend, but both with lots and lots of desserts, which made me a very happy person! I got the macarons as a gift from my mom from Lille and made the cake myself (proud face when I type this!). It's a recipe I posted earlier.

I hope you will have a good time at New Year's as well, enjoy!

Happy Almost Weekend

Today was my last day of school for this week so my weekend starts a bit earlier (happy!). This weekend I will be visiting the Christmas Market in Brussels with boyfriend of course. I'm very into the Christmas mood already because of the first snow that fell down this week. Everyone nagged on and on about the disadvantages but
I enjoyed this week to pieces! I grabbed my snow boots and a cosy, warm sweater and went outside as much as I could. I also want to have a Tree as soon as possible, because when it's cold outdoors
I want to come home to a cosy living room with a beautiful Christmas Tree. December and your snowy, freezy weather and lovely holidays,

Christmas lights already?



The first snow fell down today here in Belgium. And while I was freezing on my bike I already started thinking about Christmas. About my Christmas wishlist, buying present for others and all the little lights that suddenly appear everywhere in the period around december 24th. I also felt an urgent need now to decorate a Christmas tree. Very soon the moment will be there. Only 29 days until the big day.
