Little Black Dress in dictionary!

Women all over the world, interested in fashion, already know for a long time exactly what we mean when we talk about a LBD or a little black dress. But now there's a solution for those who don't know what we're talking about: the dictionary! The 'Oxford Dictionary of English' to be more specific.

The LBD or little black dress is now officially included in the 'Oxford Dictionary of English', along with 2000 other words such as a 'tweetup' (a meeting arranged via Twitter), a 'cheeseball' (a person with a lack of style and taste) and a 'bromance' (an intimate non-sexual friendship between two men). Especially the new internet terms are likely to be included in a dictionary. From now on, the words 'microblogging' (to post small amounts of text on a blog) and 'defriend' (to delete a friend on Facebook) belong to the English language.

The new version of the 'Oxford Dictionary of English' will be published at the end of August.

And I can only think... Finally!

Love
Ines
