I heart Nica bags!

I'm totally in love with the Nica bags and today I found this beauty. So far, I have already three bags from this brand, but a girl can never have too many bags, can she? Therefore I present to you the "Alicia Satchel", available in two colours: "Tan" and "Mushroom".

I decided to buy this bag of my dreams but I'm still doubting about the colour. So I could use some help... Which colour do you like most?

Five reasons why I like Maradona

While the World Cup continues, Maradona keeps standing out against all the others like no time has gone by. El diez still has an indomitable character and I like it!

1. I love his nickname "Pelusa" which means fuzz, refering to his hair.

2. I love how he just speaks his mind without really thinking it true. In his last daring statement he lashed out at UEFA president Michel Platini and Brazilian soccer god Pelé, after those two had criticized him. His message for his Brazilian "friend" was: "Pelé belongs in a museum". About Platini he said: "Everyone knows that the French think they are better than the rest of the world".

3. I love his amazing dribbels.

4. I love how this big star listens to nobody, except his daughters. At training and games, he would always wear a tracksuite until his girls asked his to wear a suite at the World Cup games. And at the game against South Korea the 17th of June he wore a nice suite accompanied by some nice shoes.

5. And last but not least, I totally adore him for his dance skills. Just watch the video and you'll understand!

The Body Shop Vending Machine

From now on, people in the United States mustn't go to a Body Shop store anymore to get their favorite products, they can just get them out of a machine. The beauty chain The Body Shop - part of the L'Oréal group - installed vending machines in airports, shopping centers and supermarkets.

But not only The Body Shop uses vending machines, it seems to become a trend in the beauty world. Even cosmetics companies such as Sephora and Coty sell their products through these machines. Earlier this year, Coty temporarily installed automats in subway stations in Paris to put the newest Calvin Klein perfume on sale.

According to Al Montalvo, Director of New Sales and Emerging Channels at The Body Shop, the vending machines respond to an increasing demand. "More than ever, customers want to buy their products wherever and whenever they want to. For The Body Shop, it is an opportunity to meet their expectations in an innovative way."

I'm a huge fan of these Body Shop vending machines because you can't risk not having their products around (at least, I can't). My skin totally fell in love with the body butters and their fragrances. Hope to find these automats in Belgium very soon!

Oh sweet Miss Dior colours

Love this ad campaign for Miss Dior Chérie. I can't stop starring at the colours and I like the ribbon typography. The fragrance reminds me of little lily's of the valley.

 

 

There's also an amazing tv comercial, created by Sofia Coppola. It just makes me want to go to Paris and eat cupcakes!

Fruity Ice Cubes

I like this photograph!

I love the idea of putting fruit into your ice cubes. You can use them to cool your Sangria or other cocktails. All you need is some of your favorite fruit (mine are raspberries and little strawberries), some water, a freezer, a nice drink to put your ice cubes in, sun and a terrace. I can't wait to try it!

I like Wordclouds!

Wordle is a program that makes wordclouds. This website creates a cloud of all the words that pop into my head. For example, when I'm brainstorming. When I need to work round one subject, I try to keep it as variated as possible. So, I try to associate other things to my subject. When I start doing that, words keep flashing through my mind. Before, I had trouble all writing them down, but now I can just type away, knowing that a wordcloud will be coming my way.

Today I did a quick brainstorm about the things that I like.

A thank you note a day...

Leah Dieterich's mother always told her to write thank you notes. So she does... To everything.

I really like the concept of writing thank you notes to everything that comes allong. Maybe I should try it sometime to make sure that I not always only see the worst of things.

My feel good remedy: Louis!

He's my hero in tough times. He's the enemy of shiny, unhealthy or dry skin. He beats all the skin blemishes and defeats harmful sunrays.
My savior: Louis Widmer!

I'm addicted to the Louis Widmer products ever since my brother (he studies to be a Pharmaceutical Assistent) brought some samples home with him. He recommanded the products because he had tested them in school and Louis Widmer got the best results. An additional plus is that they don't test on animals (therefore I not only have gorgeous skin, I  also have a clear conscience).

So I want to thank Louis for making my life a little bit easier at times!

I got this little videos from my dance teacher for some inspiration. The choreographies are made by Julia Spiesser.

I realy like her style of dancing and I envy her balance.

Hablas español?

Studying for my spanish exam, for me, is just a blast. I love the Spanish language! I can listen to it all day long if I want. Listening to Spanish people talking to eachother puts a smile on my face. When they're telling you something, it's almost like they're singing. I love their speedy way of talking, their intonation and the many hand gestures and loudness that (inevitable) comes with the language.

I hope you can appreciate the Spanish language as much as I do...

My study break's over, I'm going to practice and study some more. Wish me good luck with my exam!

Hugh Jackman puts on his dancing shoes...

Hugh Jackman is not only great at acting and looking good, he's also a brilliant dancer. He signed a three-year partnership with Lipton and is starring in the latest their commercial.
My opinion? - I would like to see some more of dancing Jack!
